It is a 100% Portuguese family company, in the market since 1981.

With over 160 stores spread throughout the whole Portuguese territory, Barreiros Faria Group fully meets the needs of the perfumery and selective cosmetics market, adjusting geographically to distinct characteristics, both in terms of local street shops and proximity, as in what concerns to large malls or areas of more influx of people.

 Perfumes & Companhia

Perfumes & Companhia opened its first store in 1997. Part of a modern concept of self-service, is based on the principle of free circulation of consumers in-store, allowing them to choose their products without constraints or embarrassment, while ensuring, at the same time that advice and assistance are available at request. Perfumes & Companhia has currently 61 stores in Portugal and 3 in Spain.

 Barreiros Faria Perfumery

Barreiros Faria Perfumeries started operating in 1981, bringing together four traditional perfumeries until 1996. From that year on began its expansion with the opening of new points of sale and purchase of small perfumeries across the country, including currently 60 stores from north to south of Portugal.

Usually located in shopping centers or in almost every commercial and residential streets, these perfumeries offer customized services direct to a target that has a clear preference for a more relational, unhurried experience of purchase,  proper of a  superior quality traditional trade.

 Quinta Essência, Anita and Mars Perfumeries

Quinta Essência Perfumeries joined the group in 2001, totalizing 23 stores by that time. They can be found mostly in Algarve and inner cities of the country.

Anita Perfumeries joined the Barreiros Faria Group in 2003. They are located in Lisbon (4 stores) and Algarve (1 store) and have a long tradition in the world of selective cosmetics.

In 2006 the Group acquired the Mars Perfumeries located in Coimbra, Aveiro and Leiria. Today this designation has seven shops.
